1. What this policy covers
This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (browser storage, connections to third-party servers) used on the kubadzikowski.com website. The controller is KD SEO Jakub Dzikowski, ul. Twarda 18, 00-105 Warsaw, Poland, NIP (tax ID): 5581881417, REGON: 525670843, e-mail: hello@kubadzikowski.com. Full information on how data is processed is available in the privacy policy.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way.
2. How the consent banner works
On your first visit you will see a banner with three buttons: Accept, Reject and Settings. In the settings you can switch analytics and marketing cookies on or off separately. Rejecting is just as easy as accepting — it takes a single click.
The banner is my own; I do not use a third-party consent management platform. Your choice is stored in the kd_consent cookie and in a copy in your browser’s local storage for 12 months. After that time, or when the set of tools changes, I will ask you again.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or with the “Consent settings” button next to this document. When you withdraw consent to analytics cookies, the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser.
3. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These remember your choice in the banner, protect the website against bots and support simple interface features. They do not require consent, because the website would not work properly without them.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies only with your consent. I use Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced mode: without consent the Google script loads, but it does not set any cookies and only sends simplified signals without identifiers. Advertising data is redacted, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Marketing
This category is available in the banner, but I currently use no advertising or remarketing tags. Consenting to it does not activate any additional tool today. If that changes, I will update this policy and ask for your consent again.

Cloudflare may also measure website performance with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without storing data in your browser.
5. Third-party content: videos and maps
YouTube videos
On the ICproject customer journey page, the video is embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (the youtube-nocookie.com domain). The player loads when you scroll close to the video. According to Google, in this mode YouTube does not set cookies until you play the video, but it may store data in your browser’s local storage.
In a few blog articles, videos are embedded in the standard YouTube player (the youtube.com domain). The player loads when you scroll close to the video and may then set the YouTube cookies listed in the table.
In both cases your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive, among other things, your IP address and the page address. Google is responsible for the data collected by YouTube — see the Google Privacy Policy.
Maps on city pages
Service pages for individual cities include a map of the area. The map library (MapLibre) is served from my own server, while the map style, base map and map fonts are downloaded from OpenFreeMap servers (tiles.openfreemap.org, OpenStreetMap data). The map only loads when you scroll close to it. OpenFreeMap does not set cookies, but it receives your IP address and information about which part of the map is being downloaded. The “Open the map in OpenStreetMap” link takes you to OpenStreetMap only when you click it.
Fonts
The website’s fonts are hosted on my own server — the website does not connect to Google Fonts.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to the banner settings, you can delete and block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause the banner to appear on every visit. Instructions are available in your browser’s help pages.
7. Your rights and contact
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland. Details are set out in the privacy policy. Please send any questions about cookies to hello@kubadzikowski.com.
8. Changes to this policy
I update this policy when the tools used on the website change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document.
