SEO
The service covers technical and on-page implementations on a B2B site: matching the elements of service pages to query intent (titles, headings, content). I add structured data, navigation and FAQs, and tidy up linking and lead measurement. I implement the changes in the CMS or hand them over to IT. I document off-site work in a compliance-aligned log of publications and links.
I start by agreeing the rules of the collaboration: how changes will be implemented and the rules for acquiring links in line with company policies. I then tidy up the key elements of the site and the off-site activities. I work in iterations, basing decisions on data from lead measurement and traffic quality.
At the start we agree the model for implementing changes and the permitted link acquisition methods resulting from policies and compliance.
I tidy up the site structure, on-page elements and internal linking, strengthening key pages in line with the intent of B2B queries.
I implement the changes or hand over tasks for implementation, refine lead elements and tracking, and keep a log of publications and links for verification in subsequent iterations.
The kick-off and data collection in B2B SEO consist of agreeing the scope of the collaboration and gathering the information needed to plan SEO activities for the realities of B2B sales. At this stage I collect data on the offer, markets, decision-maker personas, the sales cycle and the available materials that can support content and communication. In parallel, I verify whether the key access to the site and the data is available, so that subsequent analyses are based on the actual state of the website. This way, right from the start, we reduce the risk of working “in the dark” and establish how decisions about implementations will be made.
To carry out this stage properly, access and data are needed, as well as a designated decision-maker on the company’s side with an agreed procedure for approving changes and content. In practice this covers access to the CMS/hosting (or the ability to implement changes), analytics tools and lead data, e.g. from forms and phone calls, in order to be able to measure results and diagnose problems. An approval process is also needed on the client’s side, because in B2B product and legal consultations are often required. The kick-off arrangements are the starting point for the SEO audit and the further stages, without declaring specific results within a predetermined time.
The SEO audit in the technical and indexing area is the stage at which I check the current state of the site for barriers, priorities and risks affecting visibility and the ability to scale B2B content. The technical analysis covers, among other things, crawlability, redirects, server errors, duplication, canonicalisation, the sitemap, structured data, the mobile version and performance. In parallel, I verify indexing: which pages are in the index, which are excluded, what the reasons for non-indexing are and whether the signals direct crawlers to the right URLs. This stage is carried out after the kick-off, because it relies on the data and access collected beforehand.
The result of the audit is a report with recommendations and a work backlog, which arranges the activities in implementation order and indicates dependencies. In the report I link technical and indexing problems with priorities and risks, and describe what requires implementation decisions in the subsequent stages. The backlog also takes into account dependencies between tasks (e.g. technical issues before further content development), so that the implementations are operationally feasible. The scope and pace of the next steps may depend on the state of the site, the availability of the IT team and the pace at which changes are approved.
Keyword research and B2B topic mapping consist of selecting queries for the whole B2B funnel and assigning them to existing and planned pages. At this stage I analyse product, problem, industry and integration keywords, as well as long-tail queries, to reflect the way decision-makers and technical users search for solutions. In parallel, I split the queries by intent, such as offer, comparisons and education, which makes it easier to plan the right content types. This stage is carried out after the SEO audit, so that the mapping is based on the real capabilities and limitations of the site.
Mapping keywords to URLs organises the content structure around service pages, industries, use cases, case studies and guides, and points out missing landing pages. In practice this means grouping queries and assigning them to specific pages, together with notes on structure and linking. The outcome is a “Keyword and topic map” in the form of a table, which contains the keyword group, intent, proposed URL, content type, priority and implementation notes. Such documentation makes it easier to coordinate the creation and updating of content in the next steps.
The implementation plan and schedule of SEO activities is the stage at which I establish the task queue, responsibilities and the way changes are implemented on the B2B site. In practice this involves choosing the implementation model: the changes being carried out by the contractor in the CMS, or tasks being handed over to the IT team on the client’s side. This decision affects the pace of work, the range of possible implementations and the form of the documentation I prepare for delivery. The schedule is based on the priorities arising from the earlier analyses and on the dependencies between tasks.
The result of the planning is a prioritised work backlog, which organises the tasks together with a description, requirements, acceptance criteria and implementation dependencies. In the backlog I take into account situations in which one action is a precondition for another, e.g. the need to rebuild template elements before creating new content. The scope of such a plan may depend on the number of products/services and markets, the state of the site, the availability of the IT team, the pace of content approval, and legal and industry requirements. As a result, implementations are planned in an operationally feasible way, with a clear division of responsibilities.
On-site optimisation in B2B SEO covers technical and on-page implementations and changes to the site that tidy up the structure and strengthen key pages. In practice I work on the elements of templates and service pages, so that titles, headings, descriptions and content are consistent with the intent of B2B queries. In the same area I take into account structured data and navigation elements, as well as sections such as FAQs and benefits, if they are part of the plan for a given URL. I carry out the work in line with the agreed model for implementing changes (in the CMS or through the IT team on the client’s side).
As part of the optimisation I also tidy up internal linking, logically connecting pages on the offer, industries, use cases, articles and case studies, in order to strengthen priority pages and shorten the paths to them. In parallel, I refine lead elements and tracking, including the consistency of forms, CTAs, contact pages and thank-you pages. I also prepare events for measuring leads and traffic quality, which makes it possible to diagnose problems on the basis of data, without making promises of growth. These activities are carried out as implementations or as tasks handed over for implementation, depending on what has been agreed for the collaboration.
Acquiring mentions and links in a B2B strategy serves to build the site’s authority through valuable publications and industry, partner and expert sources. The work in this area is based on quality-driven selection and compliance with company policies. At the start we agree the rules for acquiring links, i.e. the permitted methods and the restrictions resulting from compliance. These arrangements directly affect the scope and pace of the activities.
As part of the delivery I keep a log of publications and links, which organises the mentions obtained and makes it possible to control quality and report progress. The log contains a list of completed publications/mentions, URLs, a description of the context and dates. As a result, off-site activities are documented and can be verified in subsequent iterations of the work. The scope of this part of the collaboration may be limited by, among other things, legal and industry requirements and the adopted publication rules.
Feedback from clients and industry people I have worked with on SEO projects.

I had the chance to work with Kuba at Kulturalnie o SEO, an event I organise. Kuba did a great job as a speaker and received high marks from the audience. He showed professionalism and broad knowledge. In other projects at Vestigio, Kuba shows enormous commitment, a willingness to explore and implement new ideas, and excellent organisation of his work.
